To achieve objectives efficiently, any scientific endeavour should be a mixture of both creativity and rigour. In particular for very complex experiments involving large numbers of people, a minimum of quality assurance becomes a prerequisite for the success of the project!
Modern project management techniques are important tools that can be used to optimise results, on time and on budget.
This seminar covers a practical set of modern project management tools for organizing, structuring, estimating & costing, planning and scheduling, and for assessing the risks of projects in general, but most specifically of projects carried out in the fields of information systems, high technology, and scientific research.
