New developments in Astronomy experiments (ground and space based)

A review of the major telescopes and observatories in operation or foreseen, ground-based or embarked (balloon or satellite), listed according to the nature of their survey (X-rays, optical, UV, IR, microwave, radio, etc..) will be made. Their main physics goals and their most recent results will be underlined and explained. The key techniques involved will be described. A special accent will be put on Large Scale Facilities.
