The Hunt for the Higgs particle

CERN Accelerating science

After the closure of LEP, the quest for the enigmatic Higgs particle is on for the high energy hadron colliders. The increased luminosity of the Tevatron offers it a chance for a light Higgs discovery. Intriguinly, the Tevatron could accumulate a sufficiently large data set around the same time the LHC is supposed to start-up. The Higgs discovery potential and precision of Higgs property measurements will be discussed in detail for both colliders.
